Anja and Robert are passionate gardeners who create vibrant and fully organic gardens—spaces that are both beautiful to enjoy and abundant with fully biological healthy food to eat. Together they design and bring to life these unique gardens for homeowners in Transylvania who wish to complement their beautiful houses with equally inspiring lovely gardens.

They are restoring an old Saxon village farmhouse to its former glory. On the surrounding land, they have created a beautiful natural garden that is both a visual delight and produces abundant, fully organic, delicious vegetables and fruits.

From this, the idea emerged to create similar gardens for others who dedicate much time and energy to restoring their homes and estates in Romania. For both Anja & Robert —both originally from The Netherlands and educated at Wageningen University as a landscape architect and now the proud owner of the gardening business 'Anja’s Lovely Gardens'— this completes the circle of their journey.
